About Me
If you are reading this, you are exactly where you need to be :) My name is Yabi Demissie and I am the founder of Demi Visualz, LLC! In east Atlanta I was born and raised in the playground, that's where I spent more of my d.............okay, let me stop lol I was born in Atlanta, Georgia and raised in Jacksonville, Florida with roots from the horn of Africa, Ethiopia. I know that my true identity is found in my Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ and my greatest desire is to shine God’s light and love in everything I do! I received my B.S. in Public Health from the University of South Florida in 2015 and my M.S. in Higher Education at Nova Southeastern University in 2017. I enjoy spending time with family and friends, I love running and playing basketball (when my knees don’t hurt), reading, learning, laughing and snacking on Skinny Pops!
I’ve always had a passion when it’s come to bringing people together for a purpose and helping others find a light in themselves. This sparked many beautiful things and in this case, it led me into the light of photography. Recently, as I’ve grown in my faith, I’ve seen God work in so many ways to make things in life work together for my good and His glory. With photography, it all started with me being the "chosen one" to always take pictures of my family and friends because I had the “angle” lol the rest was history. I purchased my first camera in 2018 and after investing even more into myself, I now take pictures with a Canon 5D Mark IV along with a 24-70 mm lens and my absolute favorite….my little ol’ 50 mm lens. Thanks for taking the time to learn a little bit about me!
